Responsibilities
Assess business clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate commercial insurance products (e.g., general liability, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, property, professional liability, etc.)
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and timely follow-up
Prepare quotes, proposals, and renewal packages using carrier systems and agency management software
Process new business applications, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and certificates of insurance accurately and promptly
Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve underwriting, claims, and billing issues
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in the agency management system
Stay current with product offerings, carrier guidelines, and industry trends
Comply with all state insurance regulations and continuing education/licensing requirements
Participate in cross-selling and upselling initiatives to expand coverage portfolios
Meet or exceed performance goals and client satisfaction metrics
Qualification
Required
Active Florida Property & Casualty Insurance License
Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and carrier underwriting requirements
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) and quoting platforms
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience working in an independent insurance agency environment
Familiarity with CRM tools and digital communication platforms
