Design
Responsibilities
Design plumbing and fire protection systems for new and existing buildings
Conduct field surveys and assess existing systems
Perform engineering calculations and equipment sizing
Develop coordinated drawings and models in Revit and AutoCAD
Research and apply relevant codes and standards
Prepare technical reports and documentation
Attend project meetings and collaborate across disciplines
Support construction administration efforts, including shop drawing reviews and site coordination
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (required)
Minimum 2 years of direct experience in plumbing and fire protection design
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., Elite, HydraCALC, HASS)
In-depth knowledge of plumbing and fire protection design, corresponding terminology, and general knowledge of MEP design
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
Preferred
Experience with high-rise residential, hospitality, or public/institutional projects strongly preferred
