Responsibilities
Learn about various areas of security as it relates to the game industry - this internship will focus on account security, but you will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the fields of anticheat, fraud, content moderation, and more
Collaborate with engineering and stakeholder teams across Epic to design and implement one or more new features in a Golang backend service to support our account security initiatives
Depending on interest, projects that also require front-end development, data analysis, and/or machine learning can be supported
Qualification
Required
Experience with backend development
Golang experience preferred
A desire to develop strong software development skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate within a team
The ability to react and respond effectively to constructive feedback
A flexible approach to development and willingness to apply out-of-the-box thinking and approaches to rapidly evolving software
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the posting location for the duration of the internship
Preferred
