Responsibilities
Work as part of a small team building and testing scalable, reliable, and efficient data driven systems
Work on high profile systems that substantially impact the company's bottom line
Work with partner teams to regularly deploy and monitor these systems to ensure optimum up time with minimal impact to customer
Qualification
Required
Solid coding skills, including proficiency in a language such as C#, Java or Python
Familiarity building services and APIs for internal and external data delivery
2+ years of experience in production level software development
Team player - we highly regard collaboration
Knowledge or willingness to learn about dealing with big data
Preferred
Bachelor or advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, or related discipline preferred
Familiarity with one or more of the following would also be beneficial: AWS services like EKS, Redis, OpenSearch, S3, Athena, RabbitMQ, Lambda, EMR, Spark, EC2, CloudWatch or Elastic Beanstalk
Github including Github actions and CoPilot
Databases (relational, document and key-value), and associated query languages, such as SQL
