Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) is dedicated to community mental health, and they are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead their Emergency Services team. This role involves overseeing a 24/7 program, ensuring quality care and operational excellence while mentoring staff and collaborating with community partners.

Responsibilities

Provide daily oversight of a 24/7 program that serves as a vital lifeline across our region

Manage operations with a focus on quality assurance, compliance, and team performance

Ensure that every call for help receives a timely, effective, and professional response

Coordinate staffing and on-call coverage

Oversee risk management strategies

Serve as a clinical and operational mentor to a team of dedicated responders

Provide supervision, training, and support that keep staff confident, prepared, and certified to deliver the highest standards of care

Partner with NCSS divisions, community providers, and hospital partners to strengthen communication, streamline systems, and promote best practices across all levels of service delivery

Take an active role in program development, analyzing community needs, and helping design innovative services

Manage the program’s budget and ensure sustainability

Contribute to broader initiatives such as disaster preparedness, system reporting, and continuous quality improvement efforts

Qualification

Master’s degreeProfessional LicensureHuman Services experience

Required

Master's degree in Human Services related field

Professional Licensure or licensure eligible
