Responsibilities
Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experiments that inform content acquisition, placement, and personalization strategies
Apply statistical rigor and causal inference methods to evaluate content performance and viewer engagement at scale
Work with large, complex datasets using SQL, Python, and Spark to uncover actionable insights that drive strategic content decisions
Develop and maintain dashboards, data products, and visualizations that translate data into clear business recommendations
Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to influence decisions with thoughtful, transparent, and evidence-based insights
Collaborate with Data Engineering and ML Ops to improve data pipelines, feature engineering, and automation across experimentation workflows
Serve as a thought partner across teams, advocating for best practices in experimentation, measurement, and data strategy
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in a data science, analytics, or quantitative research role, ideally in a consumer technology or media company
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark, with hands-on experience managing and analyzing large-scale, event-level data
Deep understanding of A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference methodologies
Proven ability to translate data into compelling stories and recommendations for non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with product analytics, content performance measurement, or personalization systems is a plus
Experience in video streaming, entertainment, or ad-supported media is highly preferred
