Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and adapting lesson plans and materials to support diverse student needs
Help deliver engaging lessons using various teaching methods and technology; support classroom discussions and student engagement
Contribute to maintaining a positive, organized learning environment; support behavior management and reinforce classroom expectations
Aid in evaluating student progress through informal assessments and providing constructive feedback under supervision
Attend training sessions and reflect on teaching practices with mentor guidance to enhance skills
Support clear communication with students, parents, and staff to promote learning and resolve issues
Assist with supervision duties and collaborate with staff on educational activities
Uphold ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism in all responsibilities
Qualification
Required
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
Must be actively enrolled in a teaching program with an accredited college or university that is partnered with Stellar Virtual's programs and schools
Proficiency in presenting information clearly and engagingly
Build supportive relationships with students and work well with others
Adhere to professional standards and maintain confidentiality
Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues in a clear and precise manner
Experience with Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Chat, Drive, and other Google platforms
A reliable computer or laptop (any operating system is acceptable)
A stable internet connection (no lags/disruptions) - high speed/fiber recommended
Proficiency in using virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Google Meet) and basic computer skills such as file management and internet browsing
A functional webcam and microphone
Dressing appropriately in professional attire
Comfort and readiness to appear and speak on camera during virtual observations
Complete and pass a background and social media screening
