Vietnamese Interpreter
BIG Language Solutions is a dynamic company seeking a skilled and experienced Vietnamese Interpreter to join their Customer Support team. Responsibilities
Provide real-time consecutive or simultaneous interpretation between English and Vietnamese during live customer calls
Assist U.S. customers in resolving inquiries or issues with professionalism and empathy
Accurately relay messages without altering meaning, tone, or context
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Collaborate with Team Leads and QA to ensure high-quality communication and continuous improvement
Meet call handling metrics, quality standards, and compliance requirements
Stay informed about cultural nuances, industry terminology, and client-specific updates
Qualification
Required
Fluency in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written)
1–2 years of experience in an international call center, preferably supporting U.S. customers
Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Understanding of cultural sensitivities and professional communication etiquette
Preferred
Prior interpretation experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with interpreting platforms, CRM tools, and call center software is a plus
Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred
