Responsibilities
Create high-quality 3D characters and organics based on concept art and direction from the Art Director
Create mechanical models that show a high degree of articulation and animation
Model high poly, low poly, and texturing assets including characters, creatures, weapons, pickaxes, gliders, vehicles, and gadgets
Collaborate with various teams including game play, animation, tech animation, visual effects, and tech art
Create high quality stylized art and high quality models and textures
Create models that appropriately capture the feeling of the 2D concept art
Qualification
Required
Significant character and organic experience
Create high-quality 3D characters and organics based on concept art and direction from the Art Director
Create mechanical models that show a high degree of articulation and animation
Model high poly, low poly, and texturing assets including characters, creatures, weapons, pickaxes, gliders, vehicles, and gadgets
Collaborate with various teams including game play, animation, tech animation, visual effects, and tech art
Create high quality stylized art and high quality models and textures
Create models that appropriately capture the feeling of the 2D concept art
World class modeling skills
Proficiency in 3D software e.g. Zbrush for organics, and preferably in e.g MAX for hard surface models
Solid communicator with an ability to work between disciplines
Great texturing skills and experience with PBR & materials
Ability to take 2D concept art to completion
Ability to create functional, articulated mechanical models
