Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the University Center Lab, including staff scheduling, timecard processing, and part-time hiring
Act as Manager-on-Duty during assigned shifts, overseeing learning space operations and part-time staff across facilities
Identify and proactively address operational challenges
Train, mentor, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support
Monitor and manage lab consumables; create purchase orders and maintain inventory of printing supplies
Support and troubleshoot lab-specific equipment, including printers, plotters, and Epson Photo Printers
Provide in-class technical assistance for smart classrooms, escalating issues as needed
Collaborate with the Senior Manager to assess operations, collect and present data, and recommend improvements
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in educational technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Experience managing fast-paced technology service facilities and supervising part-time staff
Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of digital and/or print media workflows, with an interest in support and management systems
Advanced technical, administrative, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Documented experience in management, computer systems, multimedia, and customer service

Preferred

Experience in an academic environment
Knowledge of audio/video processes
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT Service Management frameworks
Experience with customer service ticketing systems
