Organizational Development Trainer
LifeScience Logistics is an organization focused on enhancing employee performance through effective training and development. The Organizational Development Trainer will conduct new hire orientation, assess training needs, and develop training materials to improve workforce efficiency.

Responsibilities
Conducts new hire orientation
Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to improve the effectiveness of employee performance
Develop and facilitate ongoing training and development through LifeScience Logistics University
Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media, including – CBT, PowerPoint, etc
Have thorough knowledge and understanding of Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and standalone policies
Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of facility in relation to established goals
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improved efficiency of the department and services performed
Support Organizational Development’s morale initiatives by facilitating employee social functions
Maintain and inform Corporate HR Director of all communication with federal and state agencies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Willingness to take initiative and able to work independently
Demonstrates resourcefulness, ownership and excellent problem-solving skills
Working knowledge MS Office Suite specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exhibit exceptional interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and customers
Professional dress is required
Skillfully navigate through Quality and Employee Management Systems with training – CQ, UKG
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Articulate
Basic to Intermediate to Advanced public speaking and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience utilizing web-based telecommunication software
Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check, etc.)
Must have a valid driver's license
Work is light to medium in nature with frequent walking to perform assigned tasks
Occasional lifting of 25 - 50 lbs. is required
Activities occur both inside and outside
Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts
Equipment: Desktop computer, fax machine, copier, desk phone, and cell phone
Systems: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred
Background or Experience in automation is strongly preferred
Associate or/and Bachelor's degree in training and development, or equivalent experience
