Responsibilities

Create and maintain error-free complex Solidworks assemblies
Identify and correct issues with CAD models and drawings while ensuring CAD models and drawings adhere to modeling best practices
Design mechanical parts and assemblies in collaboration with engineering teams
Manage part metadata and component library in Solidworks PDM
Create part and assembly level drawings with proper application of GD&T

Qualification

SolidworksSolidworks PDMGD&TEngineering design principlesOrganizational skillsTime managementCommunication skills

Required

4+ years of industry experience with Solidworks and Solidworks PDM
Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) or demonstrated advanced Solidworks skillset
Strong understanding of engineering design principles and engineering drawings
Proficient in GD&T concepts and application per ASME Y14.5-2009
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Collaborative mindset with clear and concise communication skills across engineering disciplines

Preferred

6+ years of relevant experience in Solidworks and Solidworks PDM
Associates degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, CAD Design/Drafting, or related engineering field
Previous experience as a CAD Librarian, drafter, or similar
Experience with electrical harness routing in Solidworks environment
