Responsibilities
Monitor and support the operational Wi-Fi network
Upgrade or develop enterprise-wide infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
Analyze current working infrastructures and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems
Apply knowledge in access control, routing and switching, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on critical projects
Optimize client operations and modernization
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in enterprise networking roles
1+ years of experience in network engineering and troubleshooting
Experience with IP networking solutions
Experience with access control solutions and account management
Knowledge of TCP/IP and data network protocols, and protocol analysis tools, such as tcpdump or Wireshark
Knowledge of DoD network deployments, STIGs, and IA compliance standards
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams
Ability to work on a rotational shift schedule to provide 24x7x365 coverage, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Preferred
Experience with firewalls, such as Palo Alto or Fortinet, NAC, and network security policies
Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and routing protocols, such as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, or BGP
Knowledge of scripting or automation tools, such as Python or Ansible
Knowledge of cloud networking, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Bachelor's degree in a CS, IT, or Engineering field
DoD 8570 Certification such as Security+ Certification
Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTIA Network+ Certification
