Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain features and internal tools for the Huntress Managed Security Portal using Ruby on Rails and related technologies
Translate acceptance criteria into functional workflows, data models, and clean, maintainable code
Collaborate closely with security researchers, platform engineers, and SOC analysts to deliver solutions that strengthen detection and response capabilities
Implement and refine data processing pipelines to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets
Ensure high-quality deliverables through thorough code reviews, automated and manual testing, and attention to performance and scalability
Contribute to team discussions on technical design, estimation, and continuous improvement of development practices
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design and implementation to deployment and support
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience developing complex software products
2+ years of programming in Ruby on Rails
Experience reviewing code, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting
Preferred
Experience with Hotwire, Stimulus, Turbo
Experience with Clickhouse database
Experience with AWS Cloud Environments
Experience building cybersecurity products or building a SOC platform
Experience with JavaScript
Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure
Experience with databases such as Postgres
