As a Senior Structures Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and verifying the structural integrity of the aircraft while collaborating with various departments to ensure integrated structural designs meet all requirements.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, size, and analyze new structure and potential repairs to safely and effectively carry load adhering to spatial and regulatory requirements

Conduct trade studies across multiple variables and clearly present results and recommendations

Perform static analysis using textbook hand calculation methods, including classical laminate theory

Generate, review, and query loads/stresses as appropriate from finite element models ranging from aircraft scale to detailed component scale

Author, review, and/or approve:

Engineering strength and analysis reports

Structural analysis engineering processes and manuals

Enterprise tools adhering to JetZero analysis policy/procedure

Work with various company departments to ensure integrated structural designs meet all system and aircraft-level requirements

Develop and coordinate Building Block test program

Conduct test programs as necessary to validate that structures architecture meet all requirements

Generate, review, and/or approve:

Structural test plans and reports

Compliance documentation
