Responsibilities
Act as a Snowflake technical leader and trusted adviser for our startups, presenting Snowflake technology and vision to founders, heads of Product and Engineering
Provide expert architectural and technical guidance, specifically focusing on the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and application design to enable rapid deployment on Snowflake
Work closely with Product Teams to gain in-depth knowledge of the latest features and provide direct support to startups leveraging them
Build technical assets such as blog posts, Youtube videos, and quickstarts to accelerate the adoption of the startups
Evangelize joint solutions and product integrations by speaking at conferences, webinars, and other events
Immerse yourself in the ever-evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies, including Kubernetes and AI/ML capabilities, and how to position Snowflake in relation to them
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and messaging
Qualification
Required
7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 3 within a pre-sales/customer facing role
5+ years of AI/ML experience and a solid understanding of the ecosystem
Proven experience in building applications and a strong understanding of the SDLC
Strong experience with Kubernetes and/or Snowpark Container Services
Deep experience with large-scale database, data warehouse technologies, or data platforms
Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python, along with experience in other relevant programming languages for application development
Understanding of cloud architectures and services from AWS, Azure, and Google
Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and business audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard, or using presentations and demos
Top-notch organizational skills and ability to context switch seamlessly
University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
