As a Water and Fire Restoration Technician, you will help customers recover from property damage by assessing damage, performing cleanup and restoration, and returning properties to pre-loss condition.
Consumer Services
Responsibilities
Extract water using pumps and vacuums
Set up drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers)
Monitor moisture levels and document progress
Remove soot and smoke residues from surfaces
Clean and deodorize affected areas using specialized equipment
Pack out and inventory contents for cleaning and storage
Contain affected areas and remove contaminated materials
Apply antimicrobial treatments
Follow safety protocols and wear PPE
Communicate clearly and compassionately with customers
Document work performed using SERVPRO software
Maintain accurate records for insurance and compliance
Collaborate with crew chiefs and other technicians
Follow OSHA and IICRC safety standards
Maintain clean and organized job sites and vehicles
Qualification
Required
Effective oral communication with basic math and computer skills
Valid drivers license
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Basic use of Ipad/IOS
