Responsibilities

Setup and execute routine laboratory experiments
Perform DNA isolation and associated quality control assays
Maintain plasmid library using high throughput techniques
Perform tasks using aseptic techniques including working within a biological safety cabinet
Organize large data sets within an Excel spreadsheet

Required

6 months - 2 years hands-on laboratory experience
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, medical technology or related field
Demonstrated ability to adhere to standard operating protocols and learn quickly
Ability to work in a team-based environment with a collaborative and proactive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with molecular biology techniques such as (PCR, E. coli transformation, Sanger sequencing and analysis)
Experience performing quality control assays
Previous general work experience
