Responsibilities

Develop procedural assets for the creation of highly realistic virtual environments
Design and implement world-building tools to enhance scenario creation workflows
Generate intricate scenarios and simulations to assess the Aurora Driver’s perception system across various sensors, including camera, lidar, and radar, as well as other integral components

Required

Proficiency in Houdini and the application of procedural and automated asset creation methodologies
Expertise in Python, VEX, and scripting
Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing scalable workflows and pipelines
Passionate about solving complex and impactful challenges
Specializations (1 or more): Procedural scene and geometry generation
Modeling of vehicles, sets, or human figures
Procedural surfacing, shading, and texturing techniques
Dynamic simulations such as rigid body, human motion synthesis, fluid or gas dynamics

Preferred

Familiarity with Universal Scene Description (USD)
