Responsibilities

Repairing, inspecting, troubleshooting and calibrating imaging equipment
Work history data analysis
Equipment acquisition and life cycle planning
Outside vendor management
Development of policies and procedures
Provision of service resources
Perform rounds in related clinical units to verify proper equipment operation and customer engagement
Develops and monitors compliance with equipment preventive maintenance schedules
Adherence with the manufactures procedures and intervals

Qualification

Biomedical TechnologyImaging Service ExperienceClinical Engineering CertificationRadiological Equipment SpecialistPhased Radiology Training

Required

AAS - Associate of Applied Science in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology required
5 years of experience in Imaging Service required
Clinical Engineer (AAMI) required upon hire

Preferred

BS - Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology preferred
Certified Biomed Equip Tech (CBET), and/or ACI/ AANU Certified Radiological Equipment Specialist (CRES) upon hire
RSTI, DiTec, or OEM Phased radiology training (eg: RSTI Phase 1,2,3,4)
