Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, configuration, and deployment of SAP PPDS modules
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical SAP PPDS solutions
Optimize production planning processes by identifying improvement opportunities using SAP PPDS functionalities
Design and implement best practices in production planning and detailed scheduling
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP PPDS users, ensuring optimal system performance
Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and maintain system integrity
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP PPDS functionalities
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, and IT teams to align PPDS strategies with overall business objectives
Participate in project meetings, providing updates on project progress and milestones
Conduct testing of new functionalities and system upgrades; participate in user acceptance testing (UAT)
Ensure solutions meet business needs and performance standards, assisting in issue resolution during testing
Manage multiple priorities and projects within a fast-paced, hybrid work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
7-10 years of experience as an SAP PPDS Consultant or similar role with successful project delivery
Strong knowledge of SAP PPDS, including configuration and integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM)
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and advanced planning tools is advantageous
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
