Assistant Professor in Nuclear Engineering
The University of Utah's Nuclear Engineering Program is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Nuclear Engineering. The successful candidate will join a dynamic program and will be responsible for teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as engaging in research in various areas of nuclear engineering.

Join a dynamic and growing program housed in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CVEEN)
Teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels
Engage in research in nuclear energy, advanced reactor designs, nuclear safety, fuel cycles, nuclear medicine, advanced modeling and simulation, and more
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in nuclear engineering or a closely related field by the date of hire
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Be prepared to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels
Preferred
Strong fundamental skills and interest in multidisciplinary collaboration
Research emphasis in thermal-hydraulics
Research emphasis in nuclear fuel cycles for conventional and advanced energy systems
Research emphasis in nuclear fusion science and technology
