Responsibilities
Greet, educate and instruct patients through admission and services process
Verify patient information and check in patients for scheduled appointments
Notify patient of insurance benefits and financial responsibilities
Answer telephone and direct calls appropriately
Schedule patient appointments
Manage clinical schedules and assist clinical staff as needed
Monitor account balances, payment plans, and collection reports
Cross-train with county client services staff and help cover county offices when requested
Preform cash handling responsibilities and daily reconciliation of cash drawer
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of one (1) year in an office capacity preferred
Valid driver's license and active liability insurance
Satisfactory results from criminal background check
Preferred
Customer service experience in a healthcare setting desired
