Responsibilities
Move trailers and containers within the yard using a yard tractor or similar equipment
Ensure trailers and containers are properly positioned for loading and unloading
Maintain accurate records of trailer movements
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of experience operating a yard tractor or similar equipment
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to communicate effectively with Operations and Customer Service to ensure containers are moved to the correct locations
Preferred
Valid CDL Class A license is preferred but not required
Experience in a transportation or warehousing environment
Familiarity with log keeping
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
