Growth Manager, CRM & Automation

Probably Genetic is changing the lives of patients living with severe, complex diseases through their innovative data platform. The Growth Manager, CRM & Automation will own the email marketing and lifecycle communication strategy, focusing on building impactful campaigns that enhance patient engagement while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and execute end-to-end email campaigns and journeys (batch + sequential) in Iterable
Create a culture of continuous testing, analyzing campaign results, and iterating to drive engagement and conversion
Implement automations through tools like Zapier, webhooks, or APIs to streamline workflows and ensure timely, personalized communications
Build patient-first campaigns with a deep respect for HIPAA requirements and healthcare privacy concerns and sensitivities
Track and analyze engagement metrics to identify opportunities, report on performance, and recommend optimizations
Partner with Growth, Product, and Patient teams to align email journeys with company OKRs and patient needs
Explore and apply AI-driven enhancements to increase personalization, efficiency, and campaign effectiveness
Translate patient empathy into performance ensuring that our communications are not just effective, but also human, clear, and trustworthy

Required

Experienced in CRM/email marketing, with a preference for healthcare, biotech, wellness technology or other regulated environments
Fluent in Iterable (or similar ESPs), with comfort using APIs, webhooks, and automation tools
Analytical, with the ability to design and interpret A/B tests and campaign reporting
Patient-focused, with an empathetic approach to sensitive healthcare communications
Comfortable in startup environments: resourceful, scrappy, and hands-on
Experience with D2C campaigns and user lifecycle flows
Curious about AI and eager to apply new technologies to improve lifecycle marketing
Comfort with experimentation; you're quick to test, learn, and pivot based on data

Patient-focused and motivated to have a lasting, positive impact on humanity
Comfortable in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment with rapid change
Action-oriented and excited to build a company from the ground up

Preferred

An understanding of rare diseases
An understanding of genomics, as well as genetic variants and other unique features of diseases
Biopharma business development and relationships, and the unmet needs for drug developers and researchers, especially in the rare disease space
