Responsibilities

Field work in our Survey group provides the opportunity to interact with multiple stakeholders and in a wide variety of services that encompass our discipline: this includes all practices/market sectors that GPD services

Utilizing our newer Survey technology equipment to execute strategic actions aligned with both Survey and GPD Group goals: GPD is looking for a go-getter who is passionate about driving results for the company and working on a collaborative Survey team to support field efforts. You will coordinate with professional surveyors and project teams to complete the project scope and schedule on time and within GPD’s quality standards

Required

High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Survey/Civil Engineering Technology a plus

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Survey industry, primarily in the field

Ability to work independently in the field and interested in training on survey basemapping

Ability to work 8-10 hours outdoors under various field conditions with exposure to heat, cold, and other possible adverse conditions

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. of equipment from the work truck to the site for surveying use

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, etc

Thrives in a collaborative project environment and enjoys all forms of communication while working with clients and team members (virtual, in-person, phone)

Daily local travel with occasional overnight stays required

Valid driver's license required
