Responsibilities
Design and build systems for device management, fleet monitoring, and firmware deployment
Develop backend and internal tooling to support large-scale operational workflows
Collaborate closely with firmware, hardware, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and real-time observability
Implement metrics, dashboards, and alerting pipelines to improve visibility into fleet health and reliability
Scale systems to support exponential device growth while maintaining performance and security
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software engineering experience at product-driven companies
Ability to thrive in a low structure, high-autonomy environment with competing priorities
You've built something from the ground up with broad ownership
Experience with Python, React, Typescript, PostgreSQL
Preferred
Experience building human-in-the-loop or operationally complex tooling
Experience with observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Mimir
Experience working in hardware/software contexts
