Responsibilities
Manage and lead the company’s litigation and dispute resolution matters, including patent, commercial, soft IP (including brand protection), and general business litigation matters
Lead the company’s patent program and manage brand protection matters
Qualification
Required
15+ years of legal experience directly managing high stakes litigation, including patent and general IP litigation, both at a law firm and in-house at an established hardware company
Strong foundation in patent litigation (no technical degree required)
Significant experience managing cases through pleadings, motion practice, discovery, dispute resolution, and arbitration or trial
Strong critical thinking skills, strategic mindset and ability to see the big picture
Ability to anticipate and address legal risks in business-centric ways by developing strategies to solve problems, while strengthening partnerships and business objectives
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
