Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to standards: Conduct inspections and evaluations to confirm that Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and related materials meet required codes, specifications, and quality standards
Data Collection: Record inspection results, measurements, and observations
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, including inspections and testing. Document results, including non-compliance issues, with reports and photographs
Review: Review submittals, drawings, design documents, and operations/maintenance manuals for quality and conformance
Inspections: Conduct inspections of mechanical and/or electrical systems and materials to identify defects and ensure compliance
Training: Assist in training others in quality standards, procedures, and best practices
Be a key player in an innovative modular construction environment
Lead and develop a team that drives efficiency and operational success

Required

5+ years in Electrical or Mechanical inspection, or 10+ years in manufacturing inspection
A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience is preferred
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection techniques, and quality control methodologies
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection data
Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement instruments
Ability to identify defects and a commitment to high-quality construction standards
Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate and function well within a team
Ability to operate electronic inspection software and other computer-related tasks
