As an Engineer 1 - Mechanical/Architectural, you will support the Layout and Design Integration Engineering group, contributing to advanced nuclear plant designs and performing various engineering tasks related to design, fabrication, and construction of large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Work on teams that support the design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale nuclear and non-nuclear projects

Perform physical arrangement of the nuclear island structures, equipment, piping, commodities, and support using 3D design software

Perform hazards evaluations with 3D plant models and analysis software

Read and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documents

Work with the Westinghouse proprietary digital design architecture (WNEXUS) to author, review and verify engineering designs and conduct in-depth reviews of 3D model and plant designs

Help prepare reports to satisfy applicable regulatory, code, and customer contract requirements

Provide engineering support to design, fabrication, and construction organizations including responding to requests for information (RFI's), identify design changes, and address deviations by working with engineers in different departments and global work locations

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Willing to pursue Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification and Professional Engineering licensure (PE)
