They are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to support licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for cell towers and EV power systems.

Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with the installation and maintenance of tower power systems, grounding systems, generators, and battery backups
Support electrical work related to microwave equipment, EV battery storage systems, fiber, and radio power distribution
Help pull wire, bend conduit, terminate cables, and install panels, disconnects, and lighting systems
Learn to interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and site-specific schematics
Perform basic electrical testing, measurements, and troubleshooting under supervision
Ensure all work meets NEC, OSHA, and TCE safety standards
Maintain accurate documentation of materials used and work performed
Participate in safety briefings, daily job hazard analyses, and toolbox talks
Attend and successfully complete required coursework through a state-accredited apprenticeship program recognized by the Department of Labor
Uphold TCE’s values of professionalism, reliability, and safety on every site
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Enrollment in, or eligibility for, an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Willingness to learn and work at heights (up to 300+ feet when required)
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with field teams
Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
Comfortable working outdoors and traveling for extended periods
Preferred
Prior field experience in electrical, tower, or construction work preferred but not required
Familiarity with DC power systems, grounding, and battery banks a plus
