Mid LevelPrimus Aerospace is seeking a skilled Metal Cutter/Saw Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will operate cutting machinery, interpret work orders and blueprints, and ensure quality and accuracy in cutting materials to support production processes.

Responsibilities
Operate cutting machinery and equipment to cut materials as per job requirements
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or diagrams to determine cutting specification
Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after cutting
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Participate in physical inventory cycle and year-end counts
Responsible for cutting metal in an efficient manner to maximize production
Drive the box truck and move material between the two facilities
Other shipping/receiving warehouse duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Metal Cutter/Saw Operator
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and diagrams
Knowledge of cutting machinery and equipment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines
Person often needs to lift (up to 50 lbs.) or hold heavy pieces of metal in place while cutting and supporting welding
Stamina: Person can expect long hours on their feet, often in hot and/or loud conditions
Person should be able to climb and work from a ladder
Good Vision: Keeping a steady eye on the cut as it takes form requires color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Familiarity with different types of cutting tools and equipment
To adhere to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, or lawful permanent resident of the U.S
