Responsibilities

Set and maintain application architecture standards for the platform
Coordinate with Information Security teams during regular releases and security testing
Collaborate with the Architecture Review Board for platform changes
Manage and support platform changes driven by EY and external vendors
Oversee day-to-day platform operations, ensuring reliability and performance
Run security testing and provide guidance on remediation strategies
Prioritize tasks and work closely with business stakeholders to align platform initiatives with business needs
Coordinate with relevant other EY technology groups, as needed, for operational and release management support
Manage DevOps team members and participate in future hiring as needed
Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations
Review and understand code with ability to debug code and troubleshoot issues as needed
Deliver high-quality work within expected timeframes and on budget
Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds

Required

A bachelor's degree in technology, information systems, or computer science, and a minimum of 7 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience
Approved certification
Experience with front-end programming languages such as C# and .NET
Exposure to API technologies and understanding of how APIs work
Familiarity with AI concepts and their application in platform operations
Proficiency in Azure and understanding of technology integration from infrastructure to application level
Ability to review and debug code when necessary
Strong understanding of application architecture and platform management
Experience coordinating with Infosec and architecture teams
Proven ability to manage relationships with vendors and internal teams
Experience running security testing and implementing remediation strategies

Preferred

Excellent prioritization, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Characteristics of a forward-thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new skills
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with executive stakeholders
Experience managing DevOps personnel and participating in hiring processes
Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment
