Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities
Develop container management software to solve clients’ toughest challenges
Use technical skills to affect mission-forward change
Hone skills using the latest cloud technologies to improve client’s environment with current container software
Support team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process
Recommend resources that will help clients manage and securely adopt containers
Continue to strengthen DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working with deploying cloud resources on AWS
3+ years of experience with building and supporting DevOps tools and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
3+ years of experience with containerization, building images, and orchestrating deployments on Kubernetes with Helm, including writing custom Helm charts
2+ years of experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
2+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code deployments, including with Terraform
Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions
Knowledge of container security technologies and evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in DevOps or 4+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISSP, or GSEC Certification within 4 months of hire date
Preferred
2+ years of experience with Kubernetes deployment orchestration tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
Experience with developing in Java or Python
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or ElasticSearch, Kibana, and FluentD
Experience with the design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure
Experience with using or migrating CI/CD pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity
Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby, and leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
Knowledge of foundational system administration principles
