Senior Manager, Americas Regional Compensation Programs

Responsibilities
Act as the primary compensation strategist for the Americas, translating Bain’s global philosophy into locally relevant and compliant programs
Guide internal stakeholders on market competitiveness, internal equity, and evolving local pay regulations across the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru
Lead annual compensation cycles, including budgeting, governance, system readiness, training, and change management
Build and manage compensation structures using market benchmarking data, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and Legal
Design and deliver clear compensation communications, training, and decision frameworks for HR and business leaders
Partner with the Recruiting team to align offer practices and ensure consistency across the region
Manage and mentor compensation team members within the Americas
Continuously monitor market trends and adapt programs to keep Bain competitive in the talent landscape
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Economics, or a related field
8+ years of progressive experience in compensation program management
Hands-on experience with compensation design and governance across multiple countries in North and South America
Deep expertise in base, variable, and deferred compensation practices
Strong analytical capabilities
Stakeholder management skills
Comfort advising senior leadership
Familiarity with Workday or other enterprise HRIS systems
A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred
Master's degree in HR, Business, Economics, or a related field
