Jefferson Health is seeking a driven Postdoctoral Fellow to lead a groundbreaking project examining the connection between Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and the advancement of Pancreatic Cancer. The role involves utilizing preclinical models and molecular techniques to redefine pancreatic cancer risk factors and identify new therapeutic targets, in collaboration with a team of specialists.

Responsibilities
Spearhead a groundbreaking project delving into the mechanistic connection between Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) and the aggressive advancement of Pancreatic Cancer
Integrate preclinical mouse models, innovative molecular and cell biology techniques, and epidemiological data to redefine our understanding of pancreatic cancer risk factors and uncover new therapeutic targets
Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of translational scientists, surgeons, bioinformaticians, and biostatisticians within a prolific, translational cancer center
Qualification
Required
Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related fields
Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications
Extensive practical experience with cancer mouse models
Proficiency in molecular and cellular techniques
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred
Previous exposure to Tumor Immunology/TME, Metabolism, or Liver Disease is advantageous
