Responsibilities
Manage and develop production accounting teams across global productions
Drive accurate and timely financial reporting for the series portfolio
Collaborate with Creative and Production teams to create or evaluate production plans and budgets for scripted series productions
Create and implement innovative financial controls and reporting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive financial oversight
Develop strategic financial solutions that support creative content production
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; and/or
10+ years experience as a Production Finance Executive or Production Accountant
Experience working across budget ranges from moderate to tentpole-sized, with attendant complexity
Preferred
Advanced knowledge of various production accounting software such as Movie Magic Budgeting, Scenechronize, EP Smart Accounting, PSL, Vista, etc
Knowledge of foreign and domestic tax incentive programs
Knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements
Experience with international productions
Highly motivated, analytical, proactive and self-sufficient
Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must be able to work independently and team up with various divisions
Able to earn the trust and respect of internal and external business partners
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
