Responsibilities
Provides data validation support on major accounting projects
Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies through systematic analysis and root cause investigation
Create and maintain Excel-based reports and analyses to effectively monitor and manage cash activity within the accounting function
Document workflows and maintain procedural guides for recurring analyses and reconciliations
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong SQL skills with experience writing queries and manipulating data
Experience with Snowflake data warehouse or similar cloud-based data platforms
Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Pivot, etc.)
Understanding of general accounting principles
Exceptional attention to detail with ability to catch and report errors and inconsistencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to master, implement, and adapt to new software platforms
Bachelor's degree in data management, Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance
1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting
Preferred
Experience with a programming language (Python or R preferred)
Experience with Snowflake, Python, PowerBi preferred
