Responsibilities
Acts as a critical agent for over-all product quality and ensures accurate reporting
Contributes to the integration planning and Prototype Machine Time test executions
Works with technical development projects and the Machine Integration Teams (MIT)
Keep System Integration (SI) testing process moving forward and resolves conflicts in real time
Analyze issues and provide support in the definition, prioritization and specific testing for proposed solutions or containments
Drives projects to secure early risk reduction through pre-integration testing
Business Driver (BD) for SI Issues
Performs other duties as assigned or required
Analyze SI processes and creates proposals for improvement in test queue and issue management
Analyze issue data base to understand correlations between products, machines, functional clusters. Proposes improvements in test strategies
Analyze issue data base to understand type of issue and validity of test execution (system or bench level testing)
Qualification
Required
On track to complete a BS in an Engineering discipline, or Physics
Experience with Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, integration, test, or technical support of large complex systems
Minimum 0-1 years of relevant experience
Analytically strong, enthusiastic, flexible, assertive, proactive, structured
Can observe and respond to stakeholders and situations while interacting with others
Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads
Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements
Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access controlled technology prior to beginning work
Preferred
Multi-Discipline engineering experience a plus
