Responsibilities
You will be an Aircraft Maintenance Technical Writer for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Site
As the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Writer you will also work discrepancies that are normally outside the scope of contracted work and are considered Over & Above (O&A)
O&A planners use engineering source documents to provide technical direction and references for technicians to execute necessary repairs
The O&A planner will also provide estimated labor budgets and required materials to perform repairs
Negotiations may be required when repair requirements are challenged by customers
O&A planners are expected to conduct spot checks of work documents with Operations’ personnel for improvement opportunities
The O&A planner will be expected to execute liaison planner tasks to resolve planning document issues, provide reports, and process planning changes to support hangar floor and flight line operations
Qualification
Required
Experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technical Writer
Ability to work with engineering source documents
Experience in providing technical direction and references for technicians
Ability to provide estimated labor budgets and required materials for repairs
Experience in negotiations regarding repair requirements
Ability to conduct spot checks of work documents with Operations' personnel
Experience in executing liaison planner tasks
Ability to resolve planning document issues
Experience in providing reports and processing planning changes
