Responsibilities

Responsible for yard compliance to NOV policies and procedures such as, but not limited to HSE and HR

Responsible for yard compliance with the Tuboscope Threading Quality Manual requirements

Part inspection and auditing of operator inspections per applicable quality system, licensing agency, or customer requirements

Complete inspection reports

Audit operators' first article and inspection reports

Complete understanding of the inspection program

Complete non-conformance reports and communicate status to applicable management

Aid with and audit facility production paperwork as required

Qualification

Mechanical inspectionMechanical testing equipmentBlueprint readingCode 70 certificationBasic math skills

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Ability to solve basic math equations

Must be able to learn and operate mechanical testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and scales

Maintain code 70 certification

Manage ordering and customer authorizations for proprietary items

Able to perform acceptance inspection on material purchased by the facility

Preferred

Previous experience with mechanical inspection

Blueprint reading skills
