Responsibilities

You will serve as the Branch Manager providing software development life cycle, technical sustainment and maintenance of weapons systems

You will be responsible for program resources, management and execution of the assigned branch

You will maintain responsibility and accountability of resources, adhering to established regulations guidance, policies, and procedures in the execution of the mission

You will possess the technical background related to design, development, test and evaluation, analysis, installation, investigation, research, coordination, quality assurance, planning, and execution of assignments pertaining to complex systems

You will possess the knowledge and understanding of financial and administrative support tools and processes

You will be knowledgeable in cybersecurity and software technical requirements, processes, weaknesses, and implementations

You will prepare and present proposals; plan, schedule, organize, execute, and control projects, and communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites

Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the technical execution for the development and testing of software and cybersecurity systems and their integration with ship combat systems to ensure the efficient and effective execution of warfare operational objectives
