The Associate Research Consultant/Associate Research Engineer Apprentice will develop skills to support Consumers Energy evaluation work, including documentation standardization, project tracking, and data management.

Responsibilities

Converting documentation for quasi-custom measures from various formats into a standardized workpaper format
Supporting the custom project review process by tracking submissions, downloading/uploading documentation, and reporting status updates
Gaining proficiency in the Michigan Energy Measures Database and supporting data management related to Consumers Energy measure tracking
Conducting desk reviews for impact evaluations, including checking application documentation, reviewing equipment specification sheets, and synthesizing and analyzing findings from customer interview

Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong time management, organizational abilities, and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

Verifiable work history
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptable, and capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Reliable home internet service
Ability to set up a home office using company-provided equipment
