Responsibilities
Develop and ship high-quality enterprise-grade software, with a focus on creating a significant impact on the business
Lead the development of distributed systems at scale, ensuring reliability and performance
Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to gather requirements, influence design decisions, and drive projects to completion
Apply your expertise in AI Engineering, leveraging knowledge of technologies like LLMs and transformer architecture to solve challenging problems
Take ownership of software development from inception, guiding a team of engineers and setting a high standard for engineering best practices
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience shipping high-quality, enterprise-grade software
Expertise in systems engineering and a strong background in AI
Proven capability and interest in developing software from scratch and leading engineering teams
Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: Python, Go, Rust, or C++
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate customer problems into technical designs
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave
