They are seeking a skilled Pre-Owned Vehicle Detailer to join their reconditioning team, responsible for preparing pre-owned vehicles for sale by ensuring they meet dealership and manufacturer appearance standards.

Responsibilities

Perform complete detailing of pre-owned vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, cleaning upholstery, and dressing tires and trim
Execute paint correction techniques such as buffing, compounding, polishing, and wet sanding to remove imperfections and restore vehicle finishes
Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure quality and consistency
Clean engine compartments, door jambs, trunks, and other areas as needed
Apply protective coatings, waxes, and sealants
Operate detailing equipment and tools safely and effectively (buffers, polishers, extractors, steamers, etc.)
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and supplies are properly stored and maintained
Assist with other reconditioning tasks such as touch-up paint, minor cosmetic corrections, and interior repair as needed
Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies

Required

Minimum 2 year of professional detailing experience (dealership or reconditioning center experience preferred)
Proficient in buffing, polishing, and wet sanding
Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Work may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor conditions

Preferred

dealership or reconditioning center experience preferred
