Responsibilities
Draft and edit high-quality pleadings and disclosures including petitions, sworn financial statements, motions, discovery responses, parenting plans, proposed orders, and trial management orders
Manage cases and deadlines in case management system (Filevine), including document organization and detailed case notes
Conduct discovery and financial analysis including bank record review, support calculations, and coordination with experts
Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors while protecting confidential information
Support hearing and trial preparation including exhibit and witness lists, binders, subpoenas, and logistics
Maintain organization and accuracy across multiple matters with strict deadlines
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of Colorado Family Law paralegal experience (divorce, custody, post-decree)
Strong legal writing and drafting skills; writing sample required
Knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and local practice requirements
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage demanding caseloads
In-office presence required
