Electronic Technician
Vallourec - North America is seeking an Electronic Technician to maintain and troubleshoot programmed software for a reliable production environment. The role involves effective communication with supervisors, troubleshooting equipment issues, and leading maintenance improvement activities.

Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with the Electrical Supervisor (FQM) and peers
Troubleshoot electronic/electrical equipment and HMI-related issues
Maintain operational status of all electronic/electrical equipment
Program and/or troubleshoot Level 1 and Level 2 of the production line
Perform maintenance tasks on electronic/electrical equipment
Support and lead maintenance improvement activities (CIT, MADE, RCA, CAPEX)
Evaluate new and replacement electronic/electrical hardware
Document work history accurately in SAP, including entering and closing work orders
Maintain flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions and technologies
Lead by example and promote safety programs and activities
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, PLC language (Allen Bradley/Siemens), and procedure manuals
Strong knowledge of AC/DC motor theory and VFDs (Allen Bradley/Siemens/ABB)
Skilled in AC/DC low-voltage control circuit troubleshooting
Solid mathematical and reasoning skills for problem-solving
Above-average electrical and mechanical comprehension
Minimum 10+ years of industrial electrical/electronic maintenance experience
Proficient in PLC codes (AB and/or Siemens) and traceability systems
Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft applications
Communicate effectively with the Electrical Supervisor (FQM) and peers

Associates degree in electronics or substantial progress toward completion preferred
