Responsibilities
Supervise and act as the main point of contact for complex projects both on and off site
Lead a team of technicians, subcontractors, and other associates by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing technical, schedule, policy, and best practice guidance
Train technicians on crane maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of diagnostic tools
Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists to ensure safe and reliable operation
Conduct Tool Box Talks and safety meetings to reinforce policy compliance and best practices
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and detailed inspections on equipment
Identify mechanical or electrical issues, recommend repair solutions, and ensure timely completion
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams on repairs, safety concerns, and project status
Document service and installation activities by completing accurate forms, reports, and checklists
Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualification
Required
8+ Years overhead crane service experience
Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge and mastery of applicable codes including but not limited to OSHA, NEC, CMAA, OSHA, and ASME
Experience mentoring technicians, subcontractors, or trainees
Provide crane operator training to both internal and external customer
Ability to work independently efficiently, as well as contribute collaboratively within a team
Professional and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Proven ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize
Skill in managing to dynamic and complex projects
Preferred
Journeyman or Master electrician license
