Responsibilities
Provide a variety of specialized services to both internal and external customers through telephone, email, and live chat
Work with underwriters, agents, and other insurance professionals to address issues and requests, which may involve policy interpretation based on knowledge of Verisk’s procedures, services, and products
Meet or exceed all metrics as outlined on the annual Performance Plan
Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualification
Required
College degree or equivalent experience in customer service or technical support, ideally within the insurance or data analytics industry preferred
Ability to successfully complete and apply concepts learned in technical training classes related to building construction, building hazards, and automatic fire sprinkler systems required
Ability to analyze and explain complex property data, risk scores, and inspection reports required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computing required
Strong telephone skills required
Strong multitasking and organizational skills required
Preferred
Familiarity with insurance terminology and/or Verisk's ProMetrix platform is a plus
Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ticketing platforms to manage support cases
