Responsible for ensuring all environmental and planning programs are managed effectively to meet the strategic direction of the County

Determining departmental priorities

Managing department budget

Developing program policies

Directing personnel management for the department's divisions of Planning and Zoning and Solid Waste (including but not limited to Land Use and Solid Waste Ordinance enforcement, Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems, Wetland Conservation Act, Household Hazardous Waste, Demolition Landfill, and Recycle Center)
